Keith Tan

Chief Executive Officer

Founder

21+ years

Experience

Keith Tan is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of GAC, bringing over 21 years of leadership experience in private banking and investment management. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions at Finapac Capital, Bank of Singapore, United Overseas Bank, and Citibank, where he developed deep expertise across portfolio management, wealth advisory, banking operations, regulatory compliance, and risk governance.

Keith founded GAC on the conviction that independent investment management, free from traditional institutional constraints delivers superior long-term outcomes. As CEO, he drives the firm’s strategic growth and investment oversight, ensuring robust governance and disciplined portfolio management align perfectly with client interests and sustainable wealth creation

A passionate advocate of lifelong learning, Keith actively embodies the philosophy of “Learn, Unlearn, Relearn.” Demonstrating the entrepreneurial mindset he encourages in others, he made the bold decision at 49 years old to return to academia, pursuing a Master of Science in Technopreneurship and Innovation at Nanyang Technological University. Undertaking this rigorous program while simultaneously navigating the high-stakes demands of running his business and dedicating time to his family served as the ultimate proof of concept for his adaptive approach. Inspired by the entrepreneurs and business founders he had spent over two decades advising, Keith chose to walk the talk, proving that meaningful reinvention has no timeline.

Keith’s unique balancing act and commitment to continuous growth have earned recognition from NTU and local media. By demonstrating that true leadership requires the humility to become a student again, his mid-career journey stands as an inspiring example of resilience, establishing him as a genuine role model for modern, forward-thinking executives.

James Wang

Co-Founder | Advisory Committee Member

James Wang is our Co-Founder and member of our Advisory Committee, bringing over a decade of specialised experience in corporate structuring, private client advisory, and cross-border wealth architecture for high net worth individuals, family offices, and entrepreneurs across Asia.

His work spans entity architecture, banking readiness, tax coordination, family office governance, immigration strategy, and the full lifecycle of private client advisory, disciplines he brings together under a single integrated advisory framework.
